Today, the majority of heating systems on the market utilize generation old designs. The Buderus boiler is designed to conserve energy and employ a silicon injected cast iron in it's construction. Cast iron components fit the requirements of modern combustion technology and possess the characteristics necessary for high performance and maximum efficiency. This technology enables Buderus boilers with Logamatic controls to operate effectively at or near the dewpoint without suffering the corrosive effects that destroy conventional boilers.
